General Event Volunteer- Cancer Council Victoria Relay For Life (Wellington)

This is an amazing opportunity for those interested in developing their skills in a wide range of areas including volunteer coordination, team development, recruitment and retention, sponsorship, community partnerships, activities, secretary, and treasurer. The event has recently started formal planning, and we're seeking expressions of interest as we would love to add to our team! Dates are not set but you will be able to help us shape this event which will be in March or April 2018 Volunteer led, run and owned this community event is looking for new and exciting ways of incorporating businesses, community and sport groups, schools and local health services into it. Committee members will meet once monthly in the lead up to the event, moving to fortnightly meetings in the month before the event. Committees are guided by their Cancer Council Representative who provides training and guidance. Online resources are also available to assist you with your role. The more people who join the bigger and better the event can be!
