L2P Mentors - Supervising Drivers
The Gippsland East L2Ps driver education program is an initiative to help young drivers between the age of 16 to 21 years obtain 120 hours of driving experience, with a trained mentor, to practice their driving skills and gain their probationary licence.
The program targets disadvantaged young people who are unable to find a supervisor to achieve their 120 hours.
Learner drivers may have family, personal or a financial situation that make it difficult to get enough supervised driving experience to qualify for their probationary licence.
Participants will gain their experience in the program's 5 star rated vehicle.
Mentors are there to assist the learner become a safer and more experienced driver in all conditions. The learner will build up a valuable skills set as the 120 hours are achieved.
