Lifeline Gippsland
Every day Lifeline Gippsland makes a difference to people’s lives through a broad range of programs and services that deliver information and counselling support to the most vulnerable members of our community.
At the heart of our services is the Lifeline 24-hour crisis support line which provides people with support for a range of issues including depression and other mental illness, substance abuse, domestic violence and more. Our trained volunteer counsellors can also refer people who are a suicide risk to the Lifeline suicide prevention program.
Lifeline Gippsland has volunteer opportunities in a variety of areas. If you want to take on more of a crisis support role then we have volunteer work as a telephone crisis supporter. This role is for volunteers prepared to complete a training course to achieve the required qualification.
