Sale Neighbourhood House

Sale Neighbourhood House (SNH) is a not-for-profit and charitable institution.

The central purpose of the SNH is to provide community programs that are inclusive, skill developing, training based and community activity and project based, that are effective and affordable.  Our programs encourage community group participation and provide a place for community groups to conduct their activities for both members of SNH and residents of Sale and surrounding areas.

Goals and Objectives

1. Work to provide access to notions of equality and racial justice to all individuals, through life-long learning opportunities in the community.
2. Work to encourage and expand the personal awareness of capabilities and opportunities for the members and users.
3. Provide an open and caring environment where individuals and groups can explore and achieve their full potential.
4. Work to help people recognise and respect the diverse cultural and educational backgrounds of the community.
5. Provide training opportunities to members and the community, based on researched and identified needs.
6. Provide a space for community groups that conform to the purpose and mission of SNH to deliver and or conduct their activities.
